Based on the November 24,2016 accounts receivable ledger under customer name Jason Gonzales Uy with account number 01550852, it turned out that from July 2016 to August 2016, the electric bill spiked from 18,952.50Php to a whopping 55,102.88Php. In September, it became 41,498.37Php; in October, 42,479.27Php; and in November, was 20,822.02Php. Now, for the span of eight months starting April 2016 to November, Jason Uy has an accumulated electric bill of 184,914.21.
There is no big deal on such a huge balance in the electricity bill. However, what boggles the mind is that, for eight months, when the shabu laboratory began to operate, it seemed to enjoy almost free use of electricity.
The question is, who could have a hand in such privilege being experienced by Jason Uy? This could be the basis of some paid media practitioners from the mainland trying to include former FICELCO General Manager, now Virac Mayor Samuel “Sammy” alleged involvement in the said laboratory. No wonder these paid media-mediahan did not dare to present the details of this issue because they are afraid that their twisted stories might backfire on them. Their cowardice shows, for they are all drowned in fear that they will be caught in their own traps.
Now let us go back to the question. Who could have been the “unseen” hands behind the shabu lab? Let us reveal that this period, it is Engr. Peter Amaro who is sitting as the OIC-General Manager. Engr. Amaro was chosen by the majority of FICELCO Board of Directors, namely: BOD Jose Robles, BOD Robert Aquino, BOD Teresita Soledad, BOD Agnes Solero, as well as the President of the Board, BOD Jorge Tabirara. These group of people whom the member of consumers of FICELCO has entrusted to lead the governing body of the cooperative are the very individuals who constantly met at the Midas Hotel (formerly known as Hyatt Regency) which is owned by their patron, SUWECO CEO Elizaldy “Zaldy” Co.
Zaldy Co is identified to be a supporter of 2016 gubernatorial candidate, Jose “Bong” Teves, Jr., who unfortunately lost during the electoral race.
Reports reaching Catanduanes Politics say that BOD President Jorge Tabirara, together with OIC-GM Peter Amaro were instructed by Bong Teves to accommodate the application of Jason Uy for temporary electrical connection through an emissary, the late Larry Que.
So much to say, that one of the chief architects in the existence and operation of the shabu laboratory in Palta Small, Virac, Catanduanes, is none other than Bong Teves.
So much for connecting the dots, isn’t it?
